12 Feb 2012 everything seem fine for like 8 hrs. im a delivery driver so i turn on/off and drive my car alot during the day, and again everything seem perfectly fine til i stalled right after i stalled i tried turning on my car again and it keeps turning over and cranking but it wont start. idk why. it sounds like a car without gas

18 Aug 2011 I'm still "kinda" new to driving stick so I stall every now and then. Sometimes when I stall out (usually in first gear) my engine will not.
However, sometimes when I stall, follow the same procedure and restart the engine, the engine won't turn over i.e. it coughs but won't actually start. It's possible that you left your automatic transmission in gear, and the neutral safety switch won't let you send power the starter to lurch the car forward. I start the car in the morning all is well and drive wherever I need to go without a hiccup. I park it for 1+ hours until it cools down and either 1. It does not start at all until it sits for a good amount of time or 2. It starts right up but within 5-7 minutes just stalls even at times in the middle of driving (NOT good).
